I have a better idea, how about we get Joe/MU/SW style tooling and gear. DCU 3 3/4" figs are 'ORRIBLE.

Hey, spiffy new packaging cannot change the fact that these figures are garbage. And this is from a devoted DC reader and collector.

Yep, Mattel is now hopping on the "Anniversary" bandwagon Their newest wave of DCU has a similar packaging.
As stated before, too bad they're keeping the same crappy articulation. But I did have a look at the new 3 3/4" Martian Manhunter and if the other figures were articulated like that one, I might actually buy the figures. He looked like he had almost the same level of articulation as the Wolverine Origins figures (The good ones, not crap like Gambit with no ankles or wrists) |

It looks like that Green Lantern might be the new style. His arm just looks posed a little different.

yeah they look much better but still have a long way to go. I don't understand why they can't get the 3 3/4 figures right.

I almost bought that Manhunter just to check out the new articulation... but they're still so small compared to hasbros lines (they fit in fine w/Trek, Avatar, and Terminator though)

The new articulation is at least as good as the good WO figures. Not as good as Joes since they don't have double jointed knees. Though arguably the ball jointed hips give for better range of movement than the Joe bars. Last edited by pud333; 01-26-2010 at 04:05 PM.. |

They got to release good sculpts first and then worry about the articulation.
Crappy sculpt with good articulation = Crappy sculpt with good articulation. |
