I think the Public Enemies figures look like crap, too. I'd buy a JLU figure with little articulation over those others any day.

Damn it. The DC Universe deserves way better in this scale. I want to like them, but they just feel cheap. The Classics are great and all, but Mattel, 3 3/4 is back! Get with the program!

I think the Version 3 DCIH (Martian Manhunter and some of the Public Enemies figures) look fine and the articulation is the minimum amount that ill accept in a 1:18th scale figure (actually ill take single hinge knees over the swivel hinge but thats just me).
So long as they keep making the DC figures at this level (version 3) or better they'll continue to get my money. Its sad that they didnt start out this way though. Ive wanted to spend more money on this line but couldnt justify it in the past. Im looking forward to the next 10 months though. Lots of fully articulated DCIH are on the horizon. |

Yeah, I saw the newest one, and Martian Manhunter caught my eye. I'm glad to see the increase in articulation, and hopefully it gets better from here. It kinda sucks though, because they need to release new versions of the earlier characters they made, especialy the more iconic guys. Thinking back, I remember last year, the Mattel rep said just stick with it and it will get better.

yeah I have to get a GL figure. I just wish they looked better next to GI Joe and Marvel figures. I'd love to have a GOOD Batman on that scale.

I swear this is one time I wish Mattel followed Hasbro's approach of multiple core characters |

Let's hope they release the "heavies" a little quicker this time around, I remember having to wait through 3-4 waves and 6 months or more before they finally got around to making a "core" character like Batman.
