I have three Hot Toys Predators, btw, and the detail, paint, accessories, etc are like any other figure I've seen.
Sideshow has been approaching Hot Toys quality, with their GI Joe line and SW stuff especially (love that Darth Vader), but they still have a way to go, since Hot Toys keeps getting better too. I mean, just compare the Hot Toys 12" Colonial Marines to something like Dutch or the Godfather, or the first AVP Preds to Wolf from AVP:R or the original Predator they just released a few months back. It's incredible how far they've come.

After seeing some of the stuff that Hot Toys puts out (TDK, Aldo Raine, etc), I'm really impressed. This got me curious and wondering if anyone would believe whether or not Hot Toys would stay a lot true-er to the original GI Joe (ARAH of course) character appearances, without comprimising to make the characters look modern.

When I was into 1/6 figures, I exclusively collected Dragon.
I haven't bought any 12 inch figures for years, but I am getting that Brad Pitt figure for sure! I hope they make more characters from the movie! |

Hot Toys easily. The detail on their figures is amazing and most of their figures have a ton of accessories. Sideshow makes good stuff but imo does not compare to HT.

i like where sideshow is going with the joe line... but it doesn't hold a candle to the hot toys line. in the past couple of years the HT figures are so lifelike. such as blade, john connor, wolverine, DX Joker and THE T-800 arnold. the joes look like they are making stupid faces. if they retooled those, i may consider them. thank god snake eyes doesn't have that problem i'm getting him next week.

If Hot Toys made Joes, then I'd say Hot Toys!

Hot toys, I love the Joe stuff from Sideshow. But the stuff I've seen from hot toys just blows the sideshow stuff out of the water.
