Is this some kind of Star Trek phaser? Found it in my old toy stash.
I say it's a little bit bigger than GI Joe guns. Last edited by Mazinger; 02-03-2010 at 01:01 AM.. |

That's exactly what it is, from the Last round of the original Playmates Line when they did OS Figures.

He 5" OS figures I had from Playmates had black and silver phasers. Maybe this is from one of the films?
Mego or Remco or someone had a 3 3/4 inch line for Star Trek III with Joe style construction. There was a line of the same size with vintage Star Wars construction fro Star Trek: The Motion Picture. |

Mego did a line for ST:TMP but they did not come with accessories. Ertl did ST:III but the Phasers were based on the ST:III Phaser designs not the OS.

Pretty sure it's a Star Trek minimates phaser, probably from the original larger minimates line, not the more recent one.

Yep, that's it. There were some larger 3+" ones done a few years ago, and some recent ones at the standard 2" height. Yours is probably from the larger ones.
