I know most collectors would never throw out a toy...
But I have way too many toys, and Some I actualy threw out! (something I thought I would never do) late 80s and early 90s vehicles that I could do without! But nobody wants broken or incomplete recon sleds, BF-2000 vehicles, and misclaneous other stuff from 1986-1994. ...Most people don't want it if its in mint condition! And I only have just so much storage space! I have 150+/- Loose Toybiz Marvel super hero, and Star Trek Playmates figures & accessories that you can't give away let alone sell them. I might just through them out too! Tankers are the Best JOE fans!!

I have thrown out a few things here and there - mostly broken stuff.
But my father threw away almost all my toys in the basement when they moved out. I salvaged a few pieces, but lost almost all the Joe stuff from 82-85 (I never had a Flagg). After I realized it was all gone, I went online to see what Joes were out to replace my lost collection. There I saw they had recently released a 5 pack of Joes and 5 Pack of Cobras, and that was all I planned on buying. Ha! |

I think I have blocked out the entirety of this memory because it's too painful, but I have shadows in my mind of throwing away some old school ARAH GIJOEs when I was a child...because the o-ring had broken.

Didn't throw them in the garbage, but I dropped a box of random toys off at a local daycare.

I can't even bring myself to throw away the opened packaging, much less the toy itself. It's a sickness :(

I still have tons of empty packages to various toys in my attic. Many of them I don't even have the toy of anymore... I got lots of marvel figure packages, star wars, and other crap still hanging out in the attic. |
