TY! I have vivid memories of how and when I acquired most of my Joes but despite getting into MOTU in the same year(82) The only memories that I really have of MotU is getting Grayskull for Christmas in 82 and SM in 84. Never had a Snake Mountain only Castle Grayskull but that will change soon in next couple of weeks... just need to find room for it after all this waiting.

By the way, if anyone was interested in using the Origins Orko as a replacement for the so-so Classics version, just be aware, Origins is HUGE.

He is a lot bigger than Classics and doesn't scale very well.

I'm really not sure what he is supposed to scale with because Origins figures, in general, are much smaller than Classics.

Origins are vintage toy inspired, and vintage MOTU Orko was oversized compared to the cartoon.

I guess. It's a really bizarre decision.

It's a great sculpt, but the paint colors (it's a very muted figure in person) and the big size make it kind of a disappointment. Maybe he will be my desk Orko for the two days of the year I'd want Orko looking at me all day.

True. My brother had the vintage Orko. It was ridiculously over sized and goofy looking. I had this perfectly sculpted, and proportioned Orko pencil top eraser. It wasn’t articulated obviously but it looked exactly like the Filmation character and worked perfectly with the vintage figures.
