Well, I was really looking forward to receiving my first BBI purchase, after seeing the realistic detail that each had. I got the Little Bird, Six Figures, and the Humvee.
I'm pretty pleased with the vehicles, and the Humvee is undergoing a paint job right now. On the other hand, I was pretty disappointed with the figures. I never really thought of using the figures themselves, as I was just getting them for the guns and accessories. Big mistake. I was able to use the backpacks and walkie talkies, but that's about it. All the guns, helmets, hats, gear, etc., are made from this brittle yet rubbery kind of plastic that breaks if you try and warp them. The 50 cal. sniper rifle's long barrel was warped in the packaging, so, when I took it out, I tried to bend the barrel straight again oh so gently, and the tip snapped off. Same banana with the headset on the pilot helmet, only this started hanging really limp after one of the BBI figures fell on it. My last hope was to use the helmets & hats, but no dice. They don't fit too well, and are too stiff to be warped around a regular 25th figure's head. /rant

You shouldnt have to do that to be able to play with the toys. What he is saying is that the figures are crap, and no recipe of cooking is going to fix that.

Eh, whatever. I shouldn't have to cut up Joes to get a full range of motion out of them, but i do. The figures are what they are. Maybe he should have asked in the Bbi thread first. |

Are you even sure that you had purchased the BBi accessories? Perhaps you were ripped off. Take a pic please. I have every BBi figure and every accessory and I have to say that none of them have soft rubbery parts for the most part. Most are made in plastic. I still believe that they make the best weapons for the 25th/ME/ROC Joes PERIOD.

Here are pics of some of the BBi gear. Nothing is made of a rubbery plastic apart from the early Navy Seals Gear:

I also believe that the figures (Especially the later series) are very worth getting. Better than most other brands. The even have the same points of articulation as the 25th/ME/POC Joes apart from the waist/torso piece.
