I agree with pretty much all your pros and cons for that site... but honestly if I had to pick one over the other I would go with collector-actionfigures and heres why...
It alot easier to use, has a huge database, allows other collectors to contribute to it, feels more professional from the websites layout and design. Although I do like your sites pics, with everything, open and packaged etc. thats something I'm sure collector-actionfigures could impliment very easily, and with it being a fairly new site it has lots of room to get even better, so the small $5 a month membership fee doesn't bother me, if you can afford a happy meal at Mc D's you can afford this website. I'm not slamming your site CTGLinks, but to me this other site is something I would choose over yours. sorry.

Hey, it's Bill again. We actually have already implemented it...just have to get access to the figures. Go to Collector-ActionFigures.com<http://Collector-ActionFigures.com/>, a Web Application for Collectors.
and see for yourself. There are two 360 degree photos of Drew Bledsoe in Sports Picks (one packaged and one loose.) Seeing G.I. Joes like that would be great. You can click on the Full Screen option (the 4-headed arrow) for a full screen rendition. |

We've invested quite a bit in our photography. We have built a proprietary system that enables us to take really great photos of figures pretty darned quickly. The pictures won't win us Photo-of-the-Year contest awards, but we're just trying to give the collector as much visual information about the figure as possible, and the 360 and hi-res photos (and I love the full screen) do that pretty well.
