I really would like a realistic approach to pricing and remove the greed factor. It only cost tops $1.00 to produce these figures. Your making a 250 - 300% profit and then you claim you are loosing money. It is not profit if your greedy executive managers keep giving themselves higher raises and wasting company dollars on personal trips. You know who you are. I seen the numbers. So lets wake up people!

not true. one key ingredient in plastic is petrol. and with gas prices the way they are (and with shipping rates going up as has been real documented) its costing them more then that to produce. yes theres a mark up but after you factor advertising, product cost, shipping, production costs (molds arnt free) the profit margin isnt as much as you think. this clearnace sale they got going on has to be killing them financially but as stated they are making room for the 25th. im cool though with 4-6 bucks a fig as long as they stay away from frankenstined dukes and snakeeyes (vvv anyone? lol). just my own 2 cents.

I've seen some groceries out of plastic bags for that reason. It makes sense that toy prices would be affected.
