hasbro how about spring loaded weapons that work worth a crap

ok, am i the only one who misses the old spring loaded weapons? the ones that when fired youd better get out the way or you were going to be hit? nowendays they go what? 6 inches? what happened to the power they used to have? how am i supposed to shoot an enemy officer on the other side of the room when the missile goes 6 inches? what you all think?

I really didnt care for spring loaded missles. The weapons always looked to big and unrealistic.

As for how good they are, its a safety issue. Parents arent gonna buy a toy for their kid if they heard some story on the news of a kid loosing an eye from a spring-loaded toy, which has actually happened before

I actually liked some of the vehicles with spring action, but the Joe's with the oversized missile launcher looks kinda funny.

Yeah...I agree that they were toned down due to safety issues.

what would be ok is if they left the mold able to adjust it. like you know you can open the figures up and swap parts. what if you could open the launchers up and put in heavier springs? that would free them of the safety angle and give us diehards the ability top play with them. what you think? would you tweek them or leave them alone?

Hahaha.......I can just picture you guys 'Jesse James'-ing the spring loaded weapons..........and then grabbing the spackle to fill in the holes in the walls in the shape of 3 3/4" figures........... :p
