I picked up the two gift sets that have the SW McQuarrie Concept figures at TRU. Six figures in each set. The sets are $40 each. A bit pricey but these are awesome figures. First SW figures I have picked up in years.
My question though is are these sets TRU exclusives? Also, besides the twelve figures offered in these two sets, were there anymore concept figures made that aren't included in these sets? |

Yes.

And also, these figures are really awesome. If I personally hadn't already had most of these figures I bought separately, I'd have bought these for sure. Hell, I almost spent $30 on the Scuba Luke!

This doesn't really count, but they made a Ralph McQuarrie as a Rebel "Hoth" General figure.
Also, does the Boba Fett figure in the set come with the interchangeable heads? |

There are a few other concept figures out, but I don't think they're based of Ralph McQuarrie's art, but there is Concept Anakin, IG-88(may be based of McQuarrie), Ki-Adi-Mundi, and General Grievous(online exclusive).

These are great figures. I have the set on single cards. If I had known they were going to release them as boxed sets I may have waited, instead of sturggling to hunt for these at retail and online.

Those sets are awesome and frustrating.
I have most of the figures, but I'm missing like 2 in each set, so I cant justify buying them. The sets don't include the interchangeable heads from what I've heard. Luckily, the Fett and Vader werent exclusives, so if you really wanted the extra heads they wouldnt be ridiculously expensive. |

These figures were all released earlier on single cards. They were all available as non-exclusives except for the following... Luke Skywalker was a Celebration IV exclusive. R2-D2 & C-3PO were carded together as a Celebration IV exclusive. I believe these were also available at European and Japanese conventions as well. Obi Wan & Yoda were carded together as a San Diego Comic Con exclusive. As far as other concept figures go there was a StarWarsShop.com exclusive of General Grievous by Warren Fu that came in the same packaging as the single carded McQuarrie concept figures did. Besides these figures there have also been some other "concept" figures from the Clone Wars and expanded universe. One that comes to mind is the Pre-Cyborg Grievous figure, but some might not consider this a "concept" figure.

Thanks for the intel everyone. I always wanted to get these figures but didn't want to bother with the hunt so these sets are great. I haven't opened them but it doesn't seem like the interchangeable heads are included. I'll have to check out those other concept figures too.
