Those were extremely cool toys, I loved the beasts and muscle as much as anyone.infact i have 40 bucks sittin in my paypal account, i may go bid on a few to keep at my station at work......
toys were so exciting back then. How cool was the ram feature on RAM MAN from the He-Man line! Or the 3 face guy. Nothing like that will ever come along again, its all about how many weapons or outfits you can add to a figure, instead of pure playability. |

Does anyone remember those figures which were similar to MUSCLE men but they were monsters? This was around 1990...

i had both and yes they were cool! i turned man-e-faces to his robot face whenever he-man was in a real jam! then when it was all over, i turned him to monster face and he-man would have to take down the guy who just saved his life! very cool indeed. gimme a sec and i'll scan that article in toyfare.

Remember the Battle Beast vehicles. I had the tiger and the ram...oh so sweet. My favorite characters were the Rhino guy and the Bunny. Awesome stuff. I couldn't tell you where they are now...

Yes! Battle Beasts are awesome. I love the original packaging designs. I still have a bunch of these, and I believe I have the green chariot somewhere.
I still have all my little collectibles: M.U.S.C.L.E men, Battle Beasts, Z-Bots, Army Ants, Monsters In My Pocket... Why don't they make cool little toys like these anymore? The closest I can think of are Minimates, but I think those are terribly lame. Plus they look too much like LEGO figures. |
