I have checked several sites but have been unable to find a Robocop ED-209 Robot toy. Aside from regularly checking Ebay, where else should I look?

Hot Toys made one, and there are smaller versions from Japan(albeit the Hot Toys Version isn't perfect).

I got two from Ebay. That is your best bet at this point. Besides regularly checking antique and resale shops or yard sales.
Ebay is spotty when it comes to the Galoob Robocop version of Ed. I found mine a year ago. I was on vacation and regularly checking the bay for them. |

I just found a Japanese Company called Kotobukiya, they have a Series of One Coin Series Set of Five, which I bought about two years ago...The figures are small, BUT ARE HIGHLY DETAILED!...They come with an awesomely detailed ED-209, Battle Damaged ED-209(scene in the first movie when Robo blows the top half of ED off and all you see are his legs!), a Robocop2/Cain Monster(AWESOMELY DETAILED), Robocop with Part 2 Paint job(Purply) and a Robocop from part 3 with the cheesy Jet pack(It may be cheesy, but it is AWESOMELY Detailed).
These are smaller 4 inch figures, but don't let that fool you, the Japanese have done one hell of a job for something at that scale, I can say from personal experience, as I own this set. To find it type in Kotobukiya Robocop One Coin Series...they may be hard to get as they were produced years ago around 2006/07.

Walmart had a bootleg Ed209 sold under its own brand. It's about 8 inches tall. And has a built in digital clock. It needs some work to make it presentable, but is damn impressive.
