Pm sent Mr.G. Also in answer to your head post, I have the majority of the commemeratives to. They were not 20 bucks a pop. They were 12.99 and the box sets were 49.99. I have almost all of that. The two box sets, Mossman exclusive, and Prince Adam exclusive. There was aJC Penny 10 pack around the same time that was like 120.00 I think, also they released He-man w/Battlecat for 29.99 and Skeletor w/flocked Panthor for 29.99. Never found those, but I have a vintage Battle cat still in box.

Just won a Commemorative He-Man and Battle Cat for $45 shipped on eBay. I'm stoked.

The revamps from a few years back are much better IMO. I cant see paying that much for the same outdated mold.

How do you tell the difference between a loose commemorative figure and a loose original figure?

Where the vintage figures have flat feet, the Commemorative figures have a little lip around the foot, which helps the figure stand better. That and sometimes the paint is nicer on the reissues, and He-Man's head sculpt is totally different from the original.
I can post pics later today; it's 2 AM here and I can't go rummaging through boxes to get my Commemorative figs out. |
