Today over at InfiniteHollywood.com I'm taking a look at Blade. My story of how I got Blade, how I always thought he was a bootleg figure and how I'd like to see him worked into MOTUC. If you're interested in checking it out, you may do so at: Infinite Hollywood: Focus On: Blade
A little spotlight shined on a forgotten part of the MOTU mythos. |

Man that last movie with Dracula in it was just horrible. Blade 2 was not so bad, but any movie with Ron Perlman is cool just because of him alone.

I actually remember seeing the MOTU Blade toy in stores from my childhood. The funny thing is, I don't even remember him being in the movie (then again, the whole MOTU live-action movie was pretty forgettable).

It seems that he was the live action version of Tri-Klops. He was really was cool in the movie. I wanted one as a kid. I never got him becuase I was full into Joe by that time and could'nt bring myself to skip a Joe for a MOTU on a shopping trip. I'd buy a MOTUC version fast. He would def need to come with the laser-whip.

But anyway, I remember him from the movie, as well as the toy. I think... About the only thing good I remember from that movie was the make-up used to create Skeletor. |
