I gathered together a small cache of them, though, plus one of the base playsets. |

Wow! I thought I saw these in TRU last week. Awesome! I still have a box full of them, mostly military and emergency ones. I had alot of batman MM's too.

Any idea what company is putting these out now?
I used to have a ton of these things as a kid, mostly the military ones of course. I was always amazed at how detailed they were. Now we just need to see a re-release of Mega-Force!

I was wondering who the manufacturer was myself. Hasbro owns Galoob nowadays, and they were the minds behind Micro Machines.
Slightly related, anyone recall the late 80's, before Micro Machines changed size and you could get knock-off Micro Machine battleships that changed color? |

Hmmm... not really. I do remember all those awesome knock-off playsets they had though like the battleships and aircraft carriers.

Do you know the MMs I miss the most? The ones that had an oversized Road Warrior type add-on to put on top of the vehicle. Those were awesome.

I've updated the first post with two additional pictures. One of some of the other sets and one of the back which shows the manufacturer. Happy hunting. These are Micro Machine molds as several match old ones I still have.

I just got a set of 6 F-14 Tomcats on ebay. I'm glad to see the military line is coming back. I want to make a dio of the scene from MASS Device where the Joe's "surrender". Basically, Stalker in front of a table with the mini vehicles and Gung Ho playing with them.
