I may have made a mistake in buying a Transformers blind box a week or so ago. It was kind of cool, so I bought three more before the kids graduated. Then, I bought two more yesterday.

I have not opened those two, but at this point, it is kind of inevitable that I am going to start getting doubles. Has anyone else ventured down this path? I was thinking that maybe setting up a trade thread for doubles might make this not feel like such a stupid rabbit hole.

see if there's not codes on the boxes already figured out. when i was collecting blind bag imaginext for my son they had a two digit code pressed into the package for each wave.

there's no way i'd buy a blind package unless i would be fine with getting doubles of everything (and i am not). while i dont think it's right; i would open the package a little to see what's in there.

Does anyone else miss legos blind bags those were so easy just to feel around for the ones you wanted I could figure out the whole display in about 15-20 minutes .. not getting doubles of anything unless you wanted it I miss those days ..

I bought so many chili peppers and rabbits just to give away

Yes, the Blockees.

I am hoping for normal Optimus out of these two that I have yet to open. I guess he is the rare one. I would like Megatron too.

My friend will likely get these if they are ones I already have. He is probably rooting for me to get doubles.

I know no one in the flesh that buys these I happened to see them @ a Wally there were 3 on the shelf so I picked them up . I?m looking for megatron D-16 as well as sentinel prime I wouldn?t mind hound either I?m thinking about trying to find another death tracker kind of want to do a custom version .. they are cool and they include a lot more parts than I expected there to be .. these were $5 @ the closest Wally to me

Hey Wedge, Blokees seem to have a pretty decent following over on TFW, a mirror thread there may be helpful as well.

Also, last I talked to him, Goldchains was collecting them as well, although that's been a while, and his collecting habits are fluid.

I decided to buy one on a whim the other day. I haven't had a chance to assemble it yet and I'm not sure if I'll get any more.

I did not realize Walmart carried them. If they are $5 there, I may get myself into big trouble.

I opened the two today and got two I needed (Ironhide and the special chase Optimus). That leaves three I needed from wave one. I got a decent enough deal on one on eBay. I will likely do that for the other two (Megatron and Skywarp) rather than buy a bunch hoping to get ridiculously lucky.

Lifeline, be careful. They are stupidly addictive and fun for some reason.

I have ordered a bunch direct from Blokees (pre tariff). You can buy a full box. If you do, you get one of each (no duplicates). 2 of the 3 cases we got had its respective chase version too.

They are very cool for their scale too
