Hey Wedge, how was the Andor premiere? Have heard good things about that show, but I was never able to make it passed episode 3 or 4 of season 1. Probably doesn't help that I have 2 kids under 6 and would always try watching the show at 10pm or later.
I would probably support this. If the price was reasonable (which certainly isn't a given). I only have one figure in Mafex Hush Batman. He's very cool, but he suffers from the same problem. He's just too small compared to literally every other figure in my collection outside of Megaman and the Super Mario Bros, ha. His cape is also a bit unmanageable. Soft goods are great and all, but it can be difficult to make his cape look like it lays naturally if you have him just standing there. It all makes me a lil sad really (as sad as one can be about toy collecting), Batman is easily my favorite super hero. I have yet to find a really good Batman figure in 1/12 scale that is worth owning. Glad McFarlane is losing the license. Hoping Mattel makes something worth collecting. I regret that we have never had a good four inch Batman. How can it be that such an iconic character can suffer such a fate? James Bond too. That seems like a no-brainer toy line.

I'm betting even ol' Ryan over at 3POA has one (or a few) he's keeping off camera, since despite all the claims to the contrary before it dropped, it is a new body. Most often, the loudest voices are the biggest hypocrites.

Nailed it. Another example is that French guy who makes those depressing proof of life style videos bitching about everything yet he is surrounded by thousands of dollars worth of the products made by the same companies he is bitching about. |

Loved that part. Companies know this mentality and plan to it. I love the dudes who are tired of Hasblow, as they say, who are drawing a line and only buying one and not three of a figure.

When it comes to general toy commentary, I prefer the likes of Robo, Geek Dad Life, and some of Toy Anxiety (although they are usually sucking up to Mondo most of the time). For legends specifically I like X-Manny. Seems like a generally positive dude who just likes collecting (like me!). Every now and then, I'll give Dan Who a shot, but the rolling ticker, sound drops, and the absolutely wretched accent / voice of his cohost make it difficult to listen for too long. No offense to that guy either, just something super grating about his voice. |

That's for sure. Did you watch it? He puts the 2 new ones basically under a microscope looking for issues. I'll bet if you scrutinize just about any figure like that you'll find something. He also talks about paint scuffing one the 1st one. I'm pretty sure that did not come from normal posing. If you aggressively rub painted parts against parts, scuffing will happen on any figure.

I have watched a few different reviews of Spidey, and I am excited for my copy. I will say that I just got in the comic series Miles Morales, and that little buck is super posable and fun, I have him in a cool leg out 3 point stand next to Symbiote Spidey in a 4 point and they are both perched on the edge of the top of my Detolf. Love that look.
