Dan Who has a review up. Painted web lines look fine on his. Goofy unmasked head and gorilla un-gloved hands confirmed. As expected it's a Marvel Legend with a couple added joints and inflated price.

I watched the Dan Who review on it. Overall the figure looks great, but agreed the unmasked head is weak and the ungloved hands look large.

As I stated before, I don't love the price point and I believe they could and should have removed a few things and sold it for $35.

That being said, I still would much rather buy this than spend $100 on a MAFEX. Since that continues to be the main argument from every fervent detractor.

I agree. I have the 2012 TMNT Figuart figures, and while the posability and detail is great, $75 a figure hurt. I bought them at tax time in a moment of weakness. I can't rap my head around the MAFEX and other guys. I liked the review and it helped me decide to keep my order. I also had a couple of my spidey figs with me trying to do some of the same poses and it wasn't happening. That hip joint is the real winner for posing.

If you buy from a North American retailer yes as they pay to import it and add their markup. You can get the Mafex from over sea retailers for as low as $55. In essence, Hasbro being a domestic company, is charging a Mafex price for this. I wouldn't be surprised if they release a bare bones version of this for $35 down the road. Hasbro will say they listened to the fans and then everyone will praise them say they got a great great deal for a bare bones Marvel Legend LOL.

I'm not sure what shipping to the US would cost, but I get my Mafex figures from AmiAmi and Hobby-Genki in Japan and, shipped to the UK, they usually run between 50-60 GBP. As opposed to buying them from retailers here in the UK, where they are 90+. I even got the Mafex Psylocke for under 50 quid.

AmiAmi HAS been raising their prices, lately, but it's still cheaper than buying from local retailers.

So you are telling me that right now I can get a classic red and blue Mafex spiderman, shipped to me here in the US for $55 bucks including shipping? If so, please share the link.
