I saw the tubers at Toy fare with this and I gotta say, if the production ones are as good as that, I don't think you'll be disappointed with the figure, high price aside. Only thing I thought looked bad was the Peter head sculpt, web jizz effect and bare hands looked huge.

That sounds like everything but the figure is bad.

I don't own a Mafex figure yet. Still resisting getting the WW2 suited Captain America but I don't see myself really getting into the Maxie line.

I guessed that Spidey would sell out but that will probably be the only figure in the line I get.

Well it's Hasbro after all. They were bound to F something up LOL. Take some of what the tubers say with a grain of salt. Although ,I think it was Boog, said the price was too much, he also said it will pose the same as the Mafex which has a waist twist. The Maximum does not. Other than that the articulation looks good.

I wonder if down the road they release this Spidey in a more bare bones version at a lower price like what Super7 is doing with some Ultimates figures. Of course, this won't happen until the "new tooling" is paid for 1,000 times over.

Maximum Series Spider-Man is back up for pre-order on Pulse again if anyone was on the fence before, but wants to jump in now.

Pics have been showing up on Reddit from UK customers. Mixed reviews, but some nice shots from people who take the time to pose him (not everyone is patient/capable enough to take advantage of the extra articulation, and it shows)

D Amazing off the top of my head. What I do is search images of Spider-man, find a picture I like and try to pose the figure based on the image.

1 poor guy got one with messed up webs on the head, waist and a miss painted back spider. Hopefully a fluke and not a wide spread issue.
