WhiskeyJackToys had a ton of real life responsibilities with his restaurant that kept him from promoting this as much as he'd like to. He is hopeful that the initial 4 will still fund and then the backerkit will hopefully fund out some more figures as people slide in and back. Who knows. I really hope he is able to make most of these figures one day. It will be hard for me to say goodbye to those Mad Max style figs.

same. i was really hoping for the mix between maniac and blaze figure.

i cant commit anymore than i have already. not sure how what i can finagle to pay for the ones in backer kit. i tend to be done once a campaign is over and dont back any further afterwards (partially because there's no way to see what the funding is at). i want everything i can get out of this.

I don't think it's going to fund this time, but he should definitely try again in 6 months or so.

It sounds like he has more story ideas and more material that's kind of in the works.

It would be great to see the accessory images included with the next campaign. I think that more complete imagery and story will push it over the line for sure.

Why have so many of these O-ring campaigns hit right before Christmas?

Yeah, I know what you mean. This one and another one I'm backing are not getting any traction at all. I am really surprised by what funds and what does not. What causes success or failure? Time of the year? Target dollar amount? Publicity? I hope WJ tries again; I'm willing to go into round 2.

the dude did like 10 podcasts, which is supposedly this great thing where everyone gets their news from im told. you know, because of one very important detail on one episode of dudes niche podcast pretty much decided how everyone expects super7 reaction+ to be.

it was a great idea, a lot of awesome looking figures, great potential for customs. but people were holding other campaigns against it? that's some crap, man. just because i dont have my recall stuff yet doesnt mean this wasnt a great idea worth my money and wait. i have strike force alpha stuff in my room right now and i hate it, should i hold that against future o-ring campaigns? no.

lothf isnt in hands yet? shits got to get made after the campaign guys. it's not like we're waiting on some really not so good hand sculpts that then may or may not be 3d scanned and improved and then sent to factories, with paint masters that dont match the 3d model.

im super bummed, kind of pissed, but at the same time, since august this year has taken a turn for the worst in every possible way so i cant be super mad about it.

It sounds like WJ is going to try again so I'm hopeful that round 2 will turn out better. Maybe it is just a bad time of year and people are holding on to their wallets. it seems like there is so much uncertainty regarding tariffs and such that people are being a little conservative. As I said, I am hopeful for round 2!

I already submitted mine. I mentioned some different style waists to add to the library of parts and shifted the order of figures around (so a girl would be in the first wave).

This campaign was awesome and it 100% deserves to get made.
