They're smaller. Helm Hammerhand is the only one that's about the same height as an Eagle Force or BFS figure. The others are half a head or more shorter. I'll try to post some pictures later.

I emailed McFarlane about the castle playset and they said there was a licensing issue. I'm not a big Lord of the Rings guy so don't know for sure, but it looks like they lifted the image for it straight out of Peter Jackson's Two Towers adaptation which may have created the issue.
