I had a few Mask toys as a kid, not many.

As I said before they do not have to treat MASK as a Vehicle line - that is what the new Loyal Subjects one if for. The 6" one is for making 6" figures and perhaps the occasional Motorcycle (initially at least).
I know a Lot of Transformers fans love the line for the Transformation aspect and likely would show some interest in the Loyal Subjects line. BUT if that (assuming the Loyal Subject's small scale line isn't hot trash quality) does well then it is time to start thinking about those dormant IP's. They nose dived Power Rangers already they could do with a replacement. That is an OLD property with no new cartoon that is entirely based on nostalgia for the old toyline and the cartoon. Is GOOD that means they can't ruin it. I think the fandom potential is pretty good as a "Heroic" 6" line and also as a vehicle line, as the demand on those smallish Star Wars starships seems to way exceed supply. Though I will concede it might be a better idea perhaps to license out a 6" line just make sure they are designed to be visually compatible with Hasbro lines. But even if Hasbro decided to do it themselves I do think some sort of test item is very worth doing.. after all that is how Classified got going with a very minimal start. They could do some sort of subline of 6" figures where you get the main antagonist and the main protagonist of a given franchise like a Matt Tracker Vs a Miles Mayhem for example in a 2 pack - also I am still entirely serious about Jem and the Holograms too (yes really) being a action figure line (not a doll line) again do the main antagonist and main protagonist and make a joke of of it say they are on the same tour as Cold Slither. If Hasbro can keep making Rita Repulsar figures for so long (before they killed Power Ranger), I am sure they can risk a 6" Matt Trakker action figure if they really wanted too. But I as a rule think there ought to be a "Hasbro Legends" line for just such things.. any IP they own that is suitable.. and I bet even Hasbro isn't sure of some of what they have the rights too at this point. |

There is the Battle Packs too that would make a nice "Deluxe" Figure too. One of my first thoughts was this : https://www.maskforce.com/venoms-revenge---venom.html |

Regarding MASK and to put things into perspective the 1986 Series 2 Outlaw was about 40" in length in the 1:24 scale. If it were sized up to 6", the thing would be 80"! There's just no way. Pricing would also be an issue. The Outlaw was $25 in 1986, which is about $75 today. In 6", that would likely be $800+. Heck, even more moderately sized stuff like the Hurricane would likely be $175+. There are a lot of moving parts and lots of engineering involved with the MASK vehicles, so the cost in 6" would be astronomical.
The main difference is that the line was even more vehicle-centric than the Joes, so you'd be selling something the size of a VAMP, Ferret, or RAM as your core offerings, and that's probably a non-starter. And, yes, the fan base is way smaller, so it is probably best handled by someone other than Hasbro at any scale. That being said, Ramen Toys sold out of their first run 3" scale Thunderhawk knockoffs at just under $200 and are offering the Shark knockoff now, so there is some market there at the smaller scale even with a higher pricepoint. |

MASK is going to be just about as niche as it gets. Shocked it's not Super7 doing it.

Depending on the prices, I may just get two of each MASK vehicle... one to display in normal mode and one to display in transformed mode.
