Lego would be a great option someone would have to do a MOC of a mask vehicle for them to even consider it though ..damn legos ? Quote:
I would also love to see MASK at the 6" scale. G.I. Joe has shown it is doable and the majority of MASK vehicles are not that much bigger than the VAMP, but I'm not sure the fan base is there -- MASK was never as popular as Joe and Classified hitting like it has was never a sure thing.
In a fantasy 6 inch MASK line, I think all of Wave One save for Rhino and Switchblade could be made at below HasLab prices and those two would be prime candidates for Haslab treatment. All of which gets me to thinking about Classified sublines. I'd love to see MASK characters and vehicles but not as a part of Joe. In fact, I'm hoping that if they make figures from the upcoming movie or the Skybound comics that they don't do so in mainline Classified. I'd much rather see that as a subline that has its own style rather than disrupting what we've come to expect from Classified. However, looking at how Hasbro handles Legends and Black Series (and the Snake Eyes movie figures), I'd not be surprised to see anything with the Joe branding become part of the Classified line. I think if they?re making joes they should expand the line into other genres like ive said before sgtsavage/extreme/resolute/renegades the list goes on only time will tell .. Quote:
Im sure we will see some mask ? masks? from hasbro eventually ..

MASK is ABSOLUTELY 100% worth some test items in 6" scale.
The reason is would appeal is Transformers fans are usually also nuts about it. I get why they want to farm it out and keep it small as a "vehicle line" but if anything that just offers MORE reason to do a 6" Mask "test release" even if it is sold as as a Gi Joe Collaboration item (kinda like Fortnite Snake Eyes). I'd not even mind to much if they use Gi Joe parts (like the Annihilator backpack) - though I would of course prefer them doing it fully and correctly. Pretty basic line like Power Rangers kinda level.. they Just need the helmet (actually removable as they tend to be large) and some effects parts, maybe some alternative hands. It might not even be so bad if they wanted to do vehicles later they can just pack the vehicle with the Civilian attire of the character or an alt colour outfit that way they can make say Matt Tracker + Spectrum mask as a single release without it stepping on any toes. I don't think i'd mind Vanessa Warfield on her own and then later sell the Manta with her in her iconic black party Dress instead. Though Venom hardly ever wore other clothes, it did happen occasionally. The VAMP is pretty much a proof of Concept for the Jackhammer (for example) but if they did vehicles there is plenty of Motorcycles to start with. ////// This isn't a joke but what about a Playmobil Thunderhawk ? Playmobil does some amazing stuff recently. Like Kitt From Knight Rider, the USS Enterprise, an entire Miraculous sub-line and just their normal lines have some great toys too (the spy themed stuff is pretty much MASK already without the license). I want an Energon Universe line done in MASK scale.
As much as I would love to see MASK itself in a 6" line, it would be a pass for me. Even old as fuck, with a big house there is only so much room. |

There probably is something to be said for an Energon Universe Joe/Transformers/MASK line being at the 2" figure scale-- something that would also work for the updoming Joe/TF crossover film. I'd actually be really excited to see a Transformers line that maintained some consistency of scale in vehicle modes as that always bothered me about Transformers (e.g. a Seeker jet should be significantly bigger than an Autobot car). But, I know I'm weird about scale.

I am definitely in the camp that thinks M.A.S.K. should be in the 1:24/1:32 2" scale and not 6". For one, half the vehicles would be automatically eliminated from ever being able to be done in the 6" scale. Not to mention we would only get maybe 2 or 3 items a year if they were 6".
M.A.S.K. just works better as a smaller toy line. I don't think you'd get as many of the play features either in 6" since that would increase the cost of the toys by even more. I love MASK. But definitely want it to be the original scale. Not to mention most people wouldn't be able to have room or the money for a whole line dedicated to 6" vehicles. I just don't think it would be successful at all. It was a line where the vehicles really were the main stars and the focal point. Much more so than GI Joe.

I think there are plenty of vehicles for MASK that wouldn't require a HasLab, if you consider the Vamp/Striker.
I could easily see Condor, Firecracker, Gator, Jackhammer, Piranha, Thunderhawk, all at a $125 or less price point with their associated drivers. Rhino, Switchblade, Boulder Mountain would be your HasLabs.

Yeah its fine for a smaller company like Loyal Subjects to take a chance with these things. And it could be a huge hit for them. But Hasbro clearly does not see a market for this line right now.
No way we could ever get these in a 6 inch scale. Nearly every item in the collection would be well over $100. There is no market for a line like that right now. Maybe not ever. I am a Huge Mask fan. Easily one of my top 5 toy lines as a kid. I would love to see some Mask characters worked into Classified. But I wouldn't even try to support a full blown 6 inch scale line. As it is I will have to resist the urge to collect this new line. Just don't have the money for another line right now. Maybe after Turtles of Grayskull ends I may pick up a few. |

You people are nuts thinking MASK should be 1:12. The brand is all about transforming vehicles. GI Joe Classified is barely getting vehicles to retail. Getting 1:12 vehicles is difficult enough, but transforming vehicles are going to require another level of engineering which basically pushes anything other than motorcycles into Haslab territory. And entire line of crowdfunded 1:12 vehicles just isn't going to work.
Even at 1:18, a MASK line would be difficult. I think they're fine continuing the original line's scale. Just wish they'd increase the articulation for the figures. Although honestly, the figures were never really a selling point for me and only essentially accessories for the vehicles. |

id only like to see some of the drives in 6-inch scale...not a whole lot of interest for me with the vehicles( I know it's a vehicle line...but drivers are such great designs), as a motorcycle or something small.
