I'm still thinking how to display mine in flight, fishing line from the roof or purchase a transparent stand. I'll see how the small plastic 'jigger' they provide to hang from fishing line looks when it's delivered. Quote:
Not obvious in the promo pics. I find light/sound on collectibles a bit of a gimmick, used a few times when new or to show to friends/relatives, then batteries removed for safety (prevent leakage) perhaps used for occasional diorama shots. I'm also a fan of JUDGE DREDD and have 2 x 6" scale LAWGIVER MOTORCYCLES with light/sound effects. Used a few times when new, then batteries out, on display and never touched again. :(

Good idea, looks like a sturdy enough frame and the 2 retaining screws should ensure the vent won't move.

The Skyhawk light switch is on top and directly behind the cockpit. It turns on all the lights. the Air Eagle would look great in that spot DFender. How low are you going to run the wire?
I would love a Tomahawk but I'm out of space for something that big. I just installed 6 72" shelves for GI Joe only and space is still limited. I get it part of the problem is I army-built cobra troopers. I also collected Tiger Force, Mad Marauders, and Night Force. That makes almost 2 of every Joe. Even though it is a good size I am still glad I got the Air Eagle. |

Anyone else order the Air Eagle from TFSource? I noticed they bumped the ship date back to May and the price up considerably...wondering if this isn't a second wave from their initial order or if I'm really stuck waiting.

I received mine from Agabyss, and then went old school with a set of water transfers from eBay. Still will buy what ever Hasbro brings out, happy to support all things classified.

I would think TFSource's commercial size order is coming in bulk and by sea e.g. actual "shipping" by container ship and taking near 3 months. Mine was ordered from the Chinese retailer "Bombusbee" (3rd party Transformers retailer plus Fans Hobby supplier) first time ordering with them for me. Took 5 business days to process and pack, then shipped by airmail on Friday. Online tracking number looks legitimate and package has been collected and moved into Chinese outgoing Customs, Australia bound. Can't fault their service up till now.
