If I wanted a decent model of the Ecto-1 that can't fit any figures inside, there's a lot more options and a lot BETTER options than this. The ONE thing this is supposed to do is have all four Ghostbusters fit inside like in the movie.

It's more of a NECA type product that kids would destroy in minutes. The actual toy Ecto-1 is being sold under the Frozen Empire line (or you can buy the retro Real Ghostbusters one). And guess what, that original toy Ecto-1 didn't even have back seats to put figures in.

I could understand your point if the 4 figures were sold in a multi-pack with this Ecto-1, but they're seperate items sold seperately. You can choose to buy both of them, and use them together, or to just buy one or the other. Hasbro's not coercing you into buying them both with promises you can fit all 4 figures into the car.

I'll consider getting them, but considering their short limbs it is kinda bizarre they can't fit inside.. surely the whole play pattern would be to store all 4 Proton packs on a rack in the back and have 2 seats in the front and a bench seat in the rear.

I wonder if the Playmobil one has them all fit inside hmmmm.

Looks like they plan to repaint/remould or add other things as if not why call it 1984 Ecto-1 and not just Ecto-1.

Something i'd buy if I have no other expenditures at the time. & if I remember to do so. The price for the Figures isn't "Horrible" for 4 figures. To be honest though if I bought Ecto-1 I might never open it.

I just saw that TNI has the prices listed for the figs and the Ecto-1.

I was looking at the pics and one looks like there may be seats in the back like the Playmobil one.

Or they can hang on the sides, Joe Skyhawk style.
