Absolute irredeemable *garbage* in every way an action figure is to be judged, imho. The best item in their packages is the fucking *chair*. I cut the figures up for ball joint fodder.

They've got great headsculpts and they look good in these pics but they keep going too pale with the paint on the end-product. Let's hope they learn but it's been their norm since the Robocop and Dredd lines.

Yeah, I don't expect that to change, just to have to accept that the style for the line is paler faces. If anything, it looks to me like they are going paler with the official images now to better match the figures, rather than going the other way.

One thing that has had me curious for a while is why do the prototypes in the official photos seem to have a double joint in the elbow. What I mean by that here, is that in the crook of the elbow, it looks like two joints squeezed together side by side. FYI, if anyone is wondering and hasn't picked up this line yet, on the retail figure the elbow is a regular joint.

All the pics of the 09 crew show the elbows they've got, but it looks like they're changing the format for the SNWs back to match what they've been doing for all other figures since RoboCop and the later Preds.
The real question is why does SNW Spock look to have a traditional thigh swivel-cut instead of the inserted hip-cup swivel. |

Pirates of the Galaxy posted a comparison photo recently, while DieHard3point75 looked at the Playmates figures in his Hiya unboxing.
