The blue dude I saw today looked closer to the 4 inch scale, but I haven't seen any human figures.
The robot mech did look awesome. Now it's up to the collective hisstank to see who's the first to try it out (and post pics). |

I saw them yesterday.
I was tempted. Mainly to buy that AMP Mech Suit. It wasn't that bad as far as price($19.99). The figures looked nice, I'm glad Mattel woke up and realized they could use DCUC articulation in a 3 3/4" figure but the crappy thing about these figures are the price! $9.99 for a 3 3/4" and $14.99 for the 7inch Movie Masters! Are they for real?!?!??! I realized that essentially you are paying for the packaging and the gimmick that comes with the figures. They have some kind of interactive chip thing where you scan this chip in you digital camera and then go to their website and it becomes a 3D model for some kind of interactive game or something. Seems silly. Reminds me of Episode I COMMTECH. Anyway, if the smaller figs were $6.99 or $7.99 I'd pick up a few just to check out the articulation, but as of now, they are way over priced. The packaging interesting, it's like a tube connected to the blister card. Again, I think the extra cash is for the packaging. I might pass, or wait till clearance time.

Hmm...off the top of my head, I'd say about the same height. It also may have to do with the fact that the Navi(I think that's what they are called)are a tall thin blue species so they may be taller than the human figures, there were no human figures at the TRU I went to.
They are definately taller than DC Infinite Heroes and they don't have the jumbo hands that DCIH have...they are realistically proportioned. The neat thing is that they have the DCUC hip articulation.

I got the AMP suit today. It's pretty cool. It comes with a big machine gun that's a lil too heavy for the arm. It also has a knife that's in a sheath tactically positioned under the cockpit for quick and easy access. It's def an action-packed situation when a giant robot has to hurry up and shank someone! This movie has too be great. All that said, I still prefer the Iron Hammer though.

I seen these at TRU yesterday and was tempted but ultimately passed so I can come home and check them out online first the mech looks promising kinda reminiscent of a Battle Tech Raven. the gunship looks like it may find a nice home in the Joe verse. may have to have a few mega marines after all.

I got the amp suit at TRU today and took some pictures. First thing you should know is that it CAN take some Joes... but not all. They kind of have to cram in there a tad and can only be ones with thinner legs and better leg mobility. I used the green repaint of the first 25th Snake Eyes(v28). I tried the Beachhead from the Snarler Alpha vehicle and it didn't work.
Here's a comparison to the Defense Mech to show some scale: The construction of the toy is hit and miss. I think generally it's a cool sculpt with some good articulation but a couple of joints are loose. Also the cockpit was glued slightly askew on mine, and since these are packaged closed-box you won't be able to see it ahead of time. Basically no paint and I didn't see any sticker sheet. The hands are a bit too loose to hold the gun properly, and much too loose to hold the giant knife. And people are wondering about the size difference with the figures, well this should show you how extreme it is: BTW the blue 1:18 scale figure I saw at TRU wasn't the same packaging as the singles I ordered online. I think the Jake Sully blue smurfcat at TRU right now is just some special teaser thing for the online game because it has three of the dog tag/stands.
