The Star Wars AT-AT toy. Don't recall which one it was in particular I think it was from Powers of the Force? Not 100% sure but it was like late 90's early 2000's if memory serves me correctly. That and Transformers Combiner Wars Devastator.

Yeah, late 90s. I still have mine at my parent's house, MiB.

GI Joe Whale.
If I wanted one I'd have bought one by now, and that obviously hasn't happened. A 1/18 Whale would be my number one pick for the next HasLab. Keep the overall size and shape, redesign the bits that are prone to breaking. |

I was like that with Super Powers Batman. My childhood one died a shitty death, I wasn't able to find another and it killed my love for that toy line. I never even bothered to seriously look for one as an adult, but almost bought a way overpriced example at a swap meet once just out of nostalgia & FOMO. My little brother scored one for me from a flea market or something just recently, and it's actually in pretty terrific shape. That toy now has a permanent and prominent place on my desk.

This is my experience too. Got most things I wanted/never had as a kid as an adult. I guess I wanted the Terror Drome but I was only 4 when it was released and was only aware of it a few years later. I was always pretty happy and realistic with my Joe collection as a kid - terror drome was more of a pipe dream. I wanted a shitload of lego Pirate and Castle stuff as a kid...got some stuff and last fall went on a splurge to get a few ships and a castle.

Oh, a day or two before Xmas in '84 or '85 I stupidly left my Super Powers guys in tunnels I'd dug into a big show fort. When Christmas came, and I got more Super Powers figures (Hawkman!), I rushed out to the fort to get my other guys, only to discover the effects of the thaw/freeze cycle on snow forts. Long story short, while hacking away at that frozen mess with a snow shovel, I scraped Batman's face clean off. I'll never forget the elation that so quickly turned to horror as I saw flashes of blue, grey and the Bat-symbol...and then nothing but blue where Batman's face should've been. It fuckin' sucked! lol

I am also in Camp Terror Drome. More than the Flagg or Defiant, I wished for that thing.
Non-Joe, I wanted Castle Greyskull.

The vintage Kenner Return of the Jedi skiff. A key thing from that film and they made it at the very end of the line. My brother claimed he remembered seeing them at Toys R Us, as to why he didn't get one. Money, I guess. Who knew it would so scarce?
Got the reissue in the 90's but footpegs were smaller and it didn't live up to expectations. I recall wanting the Crystar Crystal Castle. NEver owned one at all, but I read it was cheap, made of blister grade plastic. |

A life-size Jessica Biel action figure.
I have no complaints about my childhood, really. |
