I think I remember the MOTU KOs- the Barbarian looked a bit like Simon Belmont, right?

Haven't seen Lanard corps vehicles in the wild in half a decade now, Lanard seems to only release stuff at one building in Missourri.
Used to see the Chap Mei Soldier Force, True Heroes, Fantasy heroes, Sentinal 1, Animal Planet and other Chap Mei store labled brands at Target, Toys R Us, Big Lots, Dollar general, Family Dollar, Drug stores, and local grocery stores all the time. It seems like since Toys R Us collapsed the big Chap Mei vehicles have gotten rarer and rarer to find in the states. Occasionally I see the old figure molds still but rarely any vehicles. There's a lot of Chap Mei stuff I would have loved to pick up like the Osprey, and I still really want one of those Chap Mei Skycrane Helicopters to make a comic accurate Cobra helicopter out of. It looks like the Chinook and a few other Chap Mei molds are being distributed by Joyin and other retailers on Amazon still at least. Be careful if you order online though as there's half size knockoffs of the Chap Mei molds out there now, a lot of the C-130 vehicles on Amazon and a couple of the Chinooks are scaled down versions of the old True Heroes ones and don't fit Joes. Edit: I really hope those Kid Connection vehicles aren't made by Chap Mei, they are horrendous. I think they are mostly knockoff molds, I really hope Chap Mei's quality hasn't gotten as bad as those. I hope the Kids Connection stuff is made by Chap Mei. That means the world's largest retailer has standing orders for product and CM has cash coming in. The quality is more a reflection on Walmart's product requirements than CM's manufacturing capabilities. If you compare a CM product from Target with a Walmart Kid's Connection toy and each toy is made to different quality standards then the difference is more likely retailer requirements.

Pretty sure Chap Mei is not involved with that stuff. It all seems to me to be down-sized knock-off type shit. And yeah, Joyin appears to be the major outlet for Chap Mei right now. That Harrier I nabbed for $20 is 100% Chap Mei, and awesome cheap-o goodness from the old days. You can also find Animal Planet type Chap Mei at places like Rural King and Farm and Fleet around the holidays, I think.

I love that Kid Connection VAMP knock-off. I almost like it better than the real thing if for no other reason than it's much roomier than the official one (even if it's technically a single-seater).
Chap Mei did a really cool version of the A-10 Thunderbolt some years back. It's obviously inspired by the Rattler (complete with mid-fuselage turret), but it's pretty nice on its own merits. I wouldn't mind snagging one if they were affordable. I actually even like the figures for what they are. It's the oversized guns that drive me bonkers.
