Quoting you here to merge.
I got mine for $20. It rang up at $30, so I had to have them price-match their own website at the register but they did. Since yours broke, maybe you should return it and get a new one at the lower price? I still have most of my originals and I wish the new stuff was better scaled to the old line. That said, I can live with Superman or Batman being a little taller than most, but Flash definitely needs to be a smaller figure comparatively, so that's good news. I'm new to McFarlane DC, but I understand creating figures in a consistent scale is not one of their strong suits. Hope they can work out the kinks becuase this is a comeback I have waited a very long time for.

I did the same thing, having them price-match the website. They've since increased the website price to $30 though, so others will have to pay that inflated price. As I said above, I'm undecided on whether I'll exchange it and try again or just live with it. It's really not worth standing in line at a Walmart customer service counter for.
What are you hoping for from this line? Personally, if they just gave me a straight-up continuation of the original line I'd be happy. Classic Bronze Age character looks in the classic Kenner Super Powers scale and aesthetic. Disco Nightwing, Batgirl, Headband Supergirl, Riddler, the remaining Satellite-era Justice Leaguers, Legion of Doom, JSA (especially Earth-2 Huntress, Flash and Alan Scott Green Lantern) and Wolfman/Perez New Teen Titans are all high on my list. I have heard some talk that DC may be dictating modern-only looks, though I hope that isn't the case. Super Powers, of all the brands, isn't the line for that, IMO. |

You can say that again! Few things are worth subjecting oneself to that torture. I wasn't aware they upped the price, and I agree, it's not quite worth it at $30. It's definitely not as much vehicle as the Supermobile is, even though the action features are comparable.

Oh, I dunno about DC dictating modern-only looks...I mean, right out of the gate, two are definitely more "classic", with both Supes and Bats sporting the Underoos look, and both GL and Flash being pretty old school as well.

I found this the other day at one of my local walmarts.
The plastic bubble is flawless. Like it's so good that whoever did it can copy a factory seal or someone at the factory did it. That's about the extent of my interest in this line. |

Jeez, even at just $10 people have to steal?

If they're going to steal it doesn't matter how it costs.
I think it was swapped at the factory. There's literally nothing showing that bubble was tampered with and they still have shitloads of that superman on eBay from factories |

The Ebay ones you speak of are no longer in the factories either. They are with the people who are selling them. With a little heat and a lot of patience, the bubble can be removed and put back on to look factory.

Who can say for sure? In their favor, I can say that they got me to buy them, and I've never so much as given a thought to buying a McFarlane DC figure before. The Super Powers Collection is an all-time favorite for a lot of people and this line might lure quite a few folks like me back in. And they are pretty good kids' toys - relatively simple, sturdy and affordable.
