It doesn't look like a 1:18th ship. It looks like an unpiloted drone sized craft at that size.

I meant as in you're more likely to just stick the cockpit on the outside
than a modification. There's no obvious place in the ship to carve out a cockpit.

Oh, no; I'm a brave one. I'll get the Dremel to a fucker if I have any hope I can succeed. I'm thinking to fab a cockpit right where the wings meet like an Actis-2 Jedi Starfighter. I'm just not sure it's worthy of the cost and effort yet.

i wouldnt waste my time on that. personal experience mutilating more than what's a reasonable amount of vehicles and then eventually throwing them away because they not only do not resemble the original vehicle they dont even resemble anything to do anything with.

i still cringe pretty hard about dremeling my cobra ice sabre with the intent to be a star wars sand skiff. and it took 7 years to bring the two millennium falcons i smashed together to a complete vehicle.

it's not meant for 1:18.


if you get one for nickels, i'd say go for it but keep low expectations. worse case scenario if it gets wrecked, then it can be chucked without any loss. i had one in my hand last weekend at a resale store for 27 bucks. no way jose.

It's a neat ship, but not really worth that price imo. I think I snagged one for less than twenty with no clear idea of what I'd do with it.

If one were motivated, you could probably scratch in a cockpit in the existing compartment in the one nose (though you'd need to cut it out deeper and wider... hmmm maybe a droid slot in the other side... hmmm

I saw it was $13 on Prime last night and nabbed it for delivery today. I was thinking to hard-bash a fabbed-up cockpit where the arms meet in the middle; but your idea has a lot of merit as well. I'll def give it a consider, gracias. I've been appreciating some 'lop-sided cockpit' starfighters in my rotating Desktop here at work.

that's too bad. the toys are awesome and the movie was pretty good. all because people cant move on from one voice actor playing a character until they die and/or because that lgbt scene was basically blink and you've missed it.

I think those two items had far less to do with it (outside of the usual echo chambers) than the simple fact that people weren't ready for the meta nature of the film. Friends of mine's kids expected to see Buzz from Toy Story and got something else.
