Bought the XL-07 last night. Finally they dropped price by 10 pounds. So I grabbed it for 29.99. A bit more acceptable. Should be here tomorrow.

I don't have photos or a video yet but for those wondering if the XL-07 and I assume it will be the same for the XL-01 can hold 4'' figures the answer is yes but I think the cockpit is rather big for them. For Halo Spartans things are a bit better but still big. Not only in length but also in height. You can hardly see the figure inside. I guess I will have to customize it at some point. One thing to note is that the seat on the XL-07 seems to be a separate piece. I didn't crack it open but I can tell its not molded in. I guess you remove it, work on it, or make a replacement. I think it would need to move about 2 cms forward and probably 1 to 2 cm higher.

While not specifically stands I have several model kits that have "floating" parts. Solid core wires make for excellent flight stands I've found. I've been using wire scraps from 12/3 Romex (the electrical wire used in most homes, apartments, buildings, etc...) to hold model parts in flight poses. Take one of the ships to the electrical aisle at your hardware store and see if there's anything that might fit.

I just bought the XL-01 at Walmart yesterday. My plan is to 3D print custom seats/cockpits for the XL-01, XL-15, and Armadillo to fit two 1/18 figures in each ship. Last edited by Bujo; 08-24-2022 at 11:35 PM.. |

There's an XL-07 already? Where did you find it? I just bought the XL-01 at Walmart yesterday. My plan is to 3D print custom seats/cockpits for the XL-01, XL-15, and Armadillo to fit two 1/18 figures in each ship. https://www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/...igure/p/207892

Can you post some pics of the XL-07? The only ones I've seen so far are in package.
