I'll just start off with some basic questions.
What's the best way to remove neck, hand, and foot pegs? They can get loose or stuck in the wrong part and have to be removed/replaced. Needle nose pliers work but scar up the peg and I worry about it breaking and being stuck permanently. Also, what's the best source for 1/6 clothing and accessories outside of eBay? Other than that, I'd like to see what people put together as far as kitbashing goes. Types of bodies used, heads, clothing, etc. |

I haven?t worked on a 1/6th in years but from what I remember
Monkeydopt was my go to place for parts.

The A's were Henderson's first and favorite team, so much so that he returned three times and wanted to return a fourth so he could retire in green and gold.

I just finished a Wolverine and working on Chris Redfield and T-800. I have Arnold's clothes, head, shotgun, gat, but none of the bodies I have work. I may have to break down and get a Hot Toys TTM20 that only seems to be available from Asian sellers for double retail or more. I guess HT completely stopped making bodies for kitbashing. |

Check out monkeydepot.com they breakdown figures and sell loose figure bodies. Also I?m not sure if you know how to or not. Something I had to learn was to paint. At the time I made custom almost all the heads were cast in white resin. I watched a lot of Rafael Robledo Jr on YouTube and talked to the workers at game workshop about painting. The head in the picture was one that I painted.

I have a paint set but haven't tried anything major yet. Just a few touchups so far. Yours look good.
Browsed monkeydepot briefly and their prices are pretty good compared to eBay. eBay sellers make the hobby discouraging with the crazy amounts they want for this stuff and the quality is often bad for what you pay. I paid $80 for the T-800 pleather clothes and three of the buttons fell off as soon as I touched them. Not too bad otherwise but damn. |

I made this arm on a Cable figure from old broken Mcfarlane figures I found at the flea market. I really haven?t thought about 1/6th in a very long time. So another thing to learn if you don?t know would be to make mold and casts.

Here's one of my best custom builds- Roadblock. Haven't uploaded pics in a long time due to the Photobucket fiasco. I have more I can post another time as soon as I move to another photo host. Body, sculpt, uniform, pack, and holsters are all custom or modified pieces.

I'm trying to get better and finding clothes that fit. The more muscular ones are tough; the descriptions aren't always right when it comes to sizing. |

Actually an old 21st Century Toys gun.
As far as clothing goes, I made my own to fit a 12" WWE Maximum Aggression figure. I attached a picture of a second build I am working on. |
