seeing as im slowing down on the ROC figures I want/need until POC towards Christmas I want to start collecting a new line. I thought about the marvel ones as they are better figures but im a big DC fan. my question is:
does anyone know if these are doing well enough to keep going for a wile? or if Mattel has post christmas plans for it. I have ordered the Black/Grey Batman and the Raven,Starfire pack. I am also planning to try and get WonderWoman,Robin,Nightwing,Joker,Superman,Catwoma n but if they dont make a Batgirl I would be severely disappointed in the line. I would also just like to hear some opinions from fellow Tankers on these figures. |

i think i'm one if not the only other person here that actually likes these...
they're not great, but they're kind of old school enough to be kind of cool. the new ones that are coming sport more articulation, but in my opinion, when the old and the new are mixed together, they're going to look a little wonky. so, I like them, there is no way they are worth retail. try and find some in trades...just for the love of god, do NOT pay full price for them. you will be letting yourself down.

I've got a ton of these things. But after the MU line launched I just can't bring myself to buy anymore. they're very early 90's quality (painted costume detail that should be sculpted, minimal articulation- i don't see any excuse for cut head joints instead of ball-joint, and size... they're tiny compared to other 3 3/4 figures (which thanks to Hasbro are actually 4in instead) Some of the figures (like Hawkman) are great, but they're few of them in the line that stand out.... They seem to essentially be JLU figures with non-cartoon inspired head sculpts. I would probably wait on starting to collect this line until the new body sculpt comes out, chances are they'll end up re-releasing all the current figures in the newer style anyways.

I have a ton of these as well. I'm in the minority for liking them too I guess. These were hot for awhile but fizzled out (I actually had my own thread on this line once...buried as usual) Anyway, I like the old school feel and articulation on these. They display great and hold up well to rough play. Not sure the current status of them though...Most places have them on mark down (TRU/Walmart) or they can be found at bargain outlets (Five Below/TJ Maxx) but Target seems to be getting new waves.....so your guess is as good as mine.

I'm pretty sure some of the newly released multi-packs of Infinite Heroes have the new articulation. I saw the Gotham 3 pack($15.86 and the Batman looks outstanding!!! Also saw the new 6 pack ($35- Mallah's Revenge and a couple of the figs have the articulation- Arsenal, Mallah (he's huge!) and Robin have it-just to name a few! Really liked this line but I sold my huge collection in favor of Joes and the DC Universe Classics!

They aint that well articulated, not the first releases anyway. New ones are coming out with better articulation. I started collecting them, cause they are the only DC Superheroes/villians of 1:18 scale. I've got most of the characters that have been released so far, i'm glad i collected them. I believe this toy line can only get better, considering the competition Mattel have to compete with.

I have almost all of these the have made and I like them. If you want a Batgirl that is awesome and fits in well try the Microman set with Batman. I picked mine up for $10 shipped on ebay.
