Found a couple of these earlier this summer, and LOVED them. Not so much the Master Chiefs, but I don't really like them anyway. I'm big into the Covenant, so I army built the Elite/Grunt pack ^_^ I'm really hoping they come out with more weapons and species down the line, but Mega Bloks has a tendency to come up with absolutely wonderful toy lines and cancel them after a few waves i_i Went nuts over the Pirate ships and Knight sets, but again, noooo, they had to get canned.
Frankly, I like Mega Bloks more than Lego. The sculpts and articulation are far better, and jeez, they're so much cheaper. They're the People's Building Blocks ^____^

I picked up the Hornet set, & was disapointed in the quality of the bricks. The thing just wouldn't stay together.

...and that's why i didn't get any ~ it's been years and years since i've seen any Mego Blocks in person, but last time i did, there was a reason they cost 1/2 as much as legos...

Huh. I've been buying Mega Bloks since their Pyrates line was coming out, and I have not had problem one with blocks staying together. Then again, those were generally large, well-sculpted pieces that fit together as opposed to the more block-oriented Halo lines. But even for my little army of Ghosts, I haven't had any problems.
Maybe I'm just kind to the God of Blok :P~

I remember I got a TMNT Mega Bloks set a long while back. I only got it cuz it was TMNT. Still prefer Lego.

I'm more of a Lego man myself, but I picked them up out of curiosity. Frankly, they're really cool! I was surprised at the quality of the blocks, the vehicles were fun to build and the figures are super-poseable and highly-detailed. I'll probably pick up some more of those 10$ turrets to get some more Spartans. I'll definately be buying more when/if they come out with more sets.
