Hiya Toys revealed two new figures (new variants) the other day, Judge Dredd and Judge Mortis, with each having the same accessories as their colored version, but with a new deco.

These Hiya Dredd figures look awesome and they are reasonably priced too! Too bad I don't really collect in that scale anymore, but it is cool that the Dark Judges and along with a few note worthy Judges are getting figures. I still think $70 is a little steep for Dredd and his bike, but it still looks nice.

Sorry to say I watched this review and as soon as the shoulder pad came OFF of Dredd I cancelled all my preorders.

Shit, that's nothing a spot of superglue can't fix. So long as the joints function, I can work with everything else.

I hate those shoulder pads, so for me, I'm glad they fall off. I know others hate that they fall off and I understand.

Hell, I *cut* mine off and glued them to his back after drilling them out from inside so they'd flex more. It's a simple and plain fact to my eyes that the comic uniform is near-impossible to properly replicate in 3D without a lot of compromise.

HOWEVER, now that I've done those tweaks (plus cut/pasting the elbow pads onto the forearm) he's pretty goddamned great. I don't think I've ever seen a better expression of a comic artist's work in 3D plastic than this perfectly-Ezquerra head.
