Yea i’d say my only complaint would be the tabs to hold the blade. The Skeletron figure was such a perfect implementation of a system to hold the blade. My guess is they couldn’t work the same system with the shield holder pegs as well. If you look at the far left figure, I think I prefer that being the best way to hold the blade. You need to press the handle down under the scope at a perpendicular angle and then rotate it down after it pops in. Not sure if its intentional or what. I also vaguely remember talking to Troy about this at JoeFest, but the mine pegs are the same size as foot pegs. So you can set the mines up on vehicles as a booby trap on vehicles.

I love my Ghost figure. I'd happily take some repaints of it. Maybe a clear one or a jungle version. The Predator quote on the filecard was a nice touch. A repaint of him in Predator style would be killer.

This and Operation Recall are exactly what I want from o-ring figures: new characters or designs. I'd happily buy remakes of classics from Hasbro just to replace fragile or broken figures, but we need new stuff. When I was a kid, if you didn't get Stalker in his v1.5 figure, you had to wait years for v2 to come out. Now in the past 20 years we've had like 6 versions in that jungle camo. They just keep remaking the same designs with new articulation. I say keep the old school articulation, and bring on new designs!

An interesting idea. I doubt it's intentional, because it's a real pain in the a$$ to snap in there. (On the other hand, it's also a pain in the a$$ to snap it onto the backpack. The only way mine holds in place is to sit it off-center.)

All things considered, I think I'd prefer the blade on the backpack for this figure. Attaching it the gun looks a little too sci-fi, and I don't know what purpose a blade would serve in that position on the gun. However, I'm really concerned about those backpack pegs. I fear that one day the peg's going to break and the gun will fall off, and I'll lose it forever.

With that in mind, I just put the blade on the gun anyway. I suppose one other benefit of this is that it helps to visually distinguish the weapons from Skeletron's. (I tried putting the Wolf Trooper's blade on his gun, but for some reason it just looks better that way in gray than in red.)
