If it is anything like the o-ring Wolf Trooper the package should be perfect. As close of the 80's ARAH packaging anyone has gotten.
Didn't get Ghost, but I did back: Lancer Henchmen Krasny-Ninja Outlaw Uptown Volk Henchmen & Krasny-Ninja were my main interests. And waiting over 2 years sucks. . . .

My package just arrived. I received: Ghost, a carded set of Battle Stands, the comic book, and a set of two Longbow patches.
I like the idea of carding the stands. Reminds me of Battle Gear Accessory Packs. I haven't taken the figure off the card yet, but in carded form, it looks very much like a vintage carded G.I. Joe. At least equal in quality to Delta-17. Sturdy cardboard, white border, good art, file card and cross-sell on the back in the classic G.I. Joe style. First impression of the figure (without opening it yet): Looking closely, I can see that it does have several paint applications, but I'll be honest, they're all so muted that at first glance I felt the figure looked like a test shot. The purple is much darker in hand than it looked in photos. The shading is much closer to Night Creeper v1 arms and boots than to, say, S.A.W. Viper or Nemesis Enforcer. I am a bit confused. I should be receiving 6 Ghost figures and there only seems to be one on the order form. Anyone else got this issue?

I like this figure. I am tied up with kiddo bed time but will hopefully have more soon.
![]() I tried saving this to be a Youtube Short, but clipchamp sucks on my phone, and I guess because its 4k, uploading to Youtube via the desktop was making me post like a regular video. But still, should look good if you set the resolution up, and fit nicely to the phone screen if thats how you are viewing it. Not sure if I have the backpack on right but the cylinders on the side I believe are removable bombs / landmines. I?ll do a longer overview for those interested soon. https://youtu.be/neiULJ1PfX4 |

I just got this set too! A nice surprise... I kind of forgot that I backed this.

I read the comic issue last night. It's OK. Decent art, story is kind of basic but workable. I like the idea of setting this story in the 1980s, but this issue doesn't really do much with that.
It also doesn't give much sense of personality to the characters, and the dialogue is trying just a little too hard to imitate the Larry Hama style with copious amounts of military jargon. My favorite part is that the back cover is a big ad for the Roboskull Mk II that looks just like a vintage comic ad from the mid-'80s. I think I like the Delta-17 comic a little better. I haven't read the Strike Force Alpha comic. Last edited by Josh Z; 10-23-2024 at 10:33 AM.. |

I finally found time to open up my Ghost figure. Solid figure, fits nicely on my shelf next to Skeletron and Delta-17.
The backpack is confusing. I'm still not sure which direction it's supposed to face. I figured out that you can clip the shield or the blade thing to it, but there doesn't seem to be a way to attach the regular pistol. I would also note that the tabs to hold the blade are a little thin. Mine already have stress marks on the first day. |
