Huh. This figure looks strikingly similar to the Skeletron/Wolf Trooper o-ring figure. Both hand weapons are direct copies of those from that figure, just in a new color. The arms, legs, and possibly waist also look to be from the same mold.

The torso is new. The head is very similar to the Wolf Trooper's, but not exactly the same.

Is re-use of existing tooling why this figure is the first one ready in advance of the rest of the line?

The purple is striking, if a little goofy. I dig the shield.

Not sure how I feel about it overall. I didn't realize so much of it would be recycled from another recent o-ring product.

Yea they did the Skeletron figure and the 2 Steelweb figures use some of the pieces from that release.

2 years and 4 months after paying $277 for one of everything, I have a single packaged figure in hand along with a cardback package of 16 figure stands.

The Ghost is really nice, but really nice at this kind of timeframe isn't scratching the itch - mostly because they're so incredibly non-communicative about the status of the other figures and molds that if we get everything in under 3 years it'll be nothing short of a miracle.

These guys make Hiya look like Quick Draw McGraw.

Yeah the ghost definitely uses parts that skeletron does. I pointed it out way earlier in this thread.

We were told the reason prices and the goal was tooling but the whole line reused molds many times across figures.

They post an update every month, and answer all questions on the Kickstarter page. I want the figures as soon as possible like everyone else, but they've been as open about it as anyone.

Got my notification that my Ghost figures are on the way to the UK. Excited for this. I do agree it is taking a very long time to get these figures done and in our hands. I would have thought we would be past wave 2 by now
