TBH 30+ is Ideal and very achievable as Joytoy, Acid Rain World, Takara Microman etc have all demonstrated.
I think the Marauder ones Are Truly let down by single block torsos and No thigh swivel. Boss Fight major let down is no bicep swivel, No thigh swivel and those dreadful hands. However most are All let down by Not having Ball wrist joints. Something I have always upgraded my Joes etc with revoltech joints. Lastly I strongly think the need for BUFF chests is less required and greater shoulder articulation instead. Nice to have arms that can over reach to the otherside of the torso. Joes, etc I tend to inward dremel the chest to give that extra range of shoulder/chest motion to the figures These make for perfect articulated figures and of course Weapons/fighting stances. |

Using terms like 'Stuck in the past' seems oddly hostile. Also, what's considered a 'better thing' is subjective. |

Wasn't my intention but take it how you want I cant control how you take words especially on the internet. Probably better to not read too much into things.

Wait—people are unironically trying to defend Lanard??? If you want a cartoony kiddy 4” figure you should just buy Jazware’s Fortnite. They’re well made, have good designs, and are easily available. On the other hand, Lanard is cheap generic poorly designed and poorly executed filler pumped out to try to make impulse buys, but end up being harder to find than Major Bludd. And as for Lanard being “nostalgic”? That is technically true since they just reuse the same sculpts over and over again
As for the actual topic of this thread, I think POC style artic is good for 4” and standard Legends style artic is good for 6”. I appreciate butterfly shoulders and drop down hips, but I don’t necessarily think they’re required. Also I prefer single jointed elbows on 6” female figures as they look way better than all the current attempts on double jointed female elbows, and when executed properly they can bend up almost as far as their double jointed sisters. |

I really like Planet Green Valley's articulation in that they conceal the thigh articulation well within the sculpting. I think Marauders could add a thigh articulation easily where the molded strap goes across the thigh of their "buck" figures. The only real issue I have with PGV articulation is that the bottom torso sculpting seems to render the torso/waist articulation useless. Overall I like Marauder's articulation, but think that it could be improved with some slight tweaking. I'm very interested in seeing how their "Ultra" line turns out. Jason |

Guessing you just got into the game? Lanard takes the practice to the extreme. They say they release new product but it ends up being the same sculpt they used 6 years ago with no change to it but maybe an added green paint app. Sometimes they don't even paint it and just gush over like it is new and hope that if it is beat into your brain over and over eventually your believe it too.

For a 4 inch figure I would go with POC style. Not sure the exact number of joints that it is but I know the head moves, shoulders, elbows, knees, hips, etc. Rocker ankles and wrist are cool as well but not needed. Sometimes I don't even bend them if it is tight and I only have one of the figure. I don't want to break anything.
Now, I will buy a 5 POA figure if it looks cool. They can stand in the back and look pretty.

No need to be condescending. And your argument is disingenuous.

I love the POC Snake Eyes mold, which got quite a bit of reuse by the way.
