I stopped, I stopped!
Not much to be said until more info is released about this series. Can someone who has Facebook keep the non-Facebook users up to date? |

What you've mentioned, along with activities in another thread in this sub forum , have made me question whether this place is moderated and has any rules to speak of? I actually don't know and haven't really cared in the past as i don't participate in conversations outside of comics and toys here.
However i've recently seen threads get hijacked by various forms of asshattery and wondered what the hell is going on here. As far as the threads that are "hijacked by various forms of asshattery", not sure what specific threads you're referring to, maybe I do, I don't know, but alot of times when discussions are taking place there are some, not many, but some that do tend to fly off the rails a bit. I remember a past Tanker or two that would become very disrespectful and would began demeaning and insulting their fellow Tankers in mid-conversation. They would purposefully create accounts to specifically troll a great majority of the members here. Then the hijacking that you would probably see would be an attempt to detail the trolling. Not to derail the topic of the thread but to derail the trolling. And alot of times, once someone would revisit that thread, which the conversation was on topic when they logged out, would be walking into pages and pages of this hijacking and asshattery that you speak of. And alot of times it's difficult to determine who is the troll and who isn't because of what the thread has turned into. I have participated in several hijackings and derailings because I don't agree with someone calling someone else stupid, or an idiot, or any highly derogatory names so I will come in attempt to defuse the situation and defend the innocent person. |

So first the on-topic part: Definitely interested to see what Vonner has up his sleeve. There are a few comic-universes that I'd love to see in 3.75" form, but sadly the one I'd like to see the most (Wildstorm) is owned by Warner/DC so that seems...unlikely unless they're handing out a separate sub-license beyond the Spin Master one. Wouldn't be terribly surprised if it's the Valiant Universe, though. They've been trying to push that one to the next level in terms of exposure for a while, though that may be in jeopardy given that Bloodshot bombed, which was supposed to be the start of the "Valiant Cinematic Universe."
Now the off-topic part: Politics has infected virtually the entire collecting community, and while I definitely have a "side" it's the reason I've generally been withdrawing from those communities. I would add that based purely on personal observation over the past twenty years or so, the Joe collecting community does seem to lean more rightward (or at least that segment seems the most vocal), with the next-largest segment seeming to be "apolitical" as opposed to left-leaning. But then again, the right-leaning members of collecting communities seem to be the most vocal segments of just about EVERY collecting/geekdom community these days. |

I would love to see WetWorks, unless the wild storm deal with DC makes that impossible.

Seems Jim Lee sold all that wildstorm IP to DC/ Warner bros unfortunately, but maybe Whilce Portacio still owns Wetworks. I'd buy 3.75-4" scale WS figures or Wetworks for that matter. Or if I ever get around to it customize some Acid Rain or JoyToy into our gold symbiotic warriors.

Vonner posted another photo of a spacey looking blaster adorned with a horned skull accompanied by “Get ready...a strange new war is upon us...”
Getting a Mad Max vibe
