So, at least a couple of us tankers have outstanding orders of in-stock items from way back in early September with Megalopolis. It's now been about 60 days, and they still hasn't shipped. I've reached out to them, via e-mail, about every 14 days or so, and each time the apology response e-mail gets a little longer...but a tracking # never comes.

So a couple days ago, I tried to reach them by phone, and.....impossible to reach an actual person.

So today, I looked up their BBB.org page, and their yelp page. Uh....Oh!! There are at least dozens (hundreds?) of people who have placed orders with them, weeks or months ago, and have yet to get their orders, or get a genuine/legitimate response via e-mail, or a live person on the phone. Not good.

Looks like I'll be disputing the transaction through Discover.

The pandemic really took a toll on them and it kinda sucks. Prior to COVID I used them 2 or 3 times and they were fast and items arrived mint. They even took pics of the shipping process.

I ordered something and August and no dice. I eventually got ahold of them through email and had my order refunded.

It sucks as they seemed like they were going to be a great retailer.

Yes I've had great success with them in the past as well. It looks like sometime late summer is when the complaints started rolling in.

To continually blame covid is weak, in my opinion. They're based in Utah, a state that wasn't hard hit to my knowledge. And how does covid prevent you from throwing stuff in a box and shipping it out? They also site problems with shipping. But a shipping issue that causes a 55 day delay. I disputed the transaction today with Discover, guess we'll see what happens.

I have emailed them about this at least twice, and they keep giving me the 10 business days story. I think the last 10 days passed last Friday.

I placed an order with a friend. I just emailed him to see what I want to do. The only thing I ordered would come out to be about the same price at Pulse after the shipping I paid Megalopolis, so it might be best for me to cancel and just go that route.

They aren’t still responsible for shipping for Mythic Legions, are they? A friend said that had changed. If they are, I am very concerned about how long it might take to get my Mythic Legions orders that I’ve already been waiting over a year for (I think).

Been having a problem with them as well for an order I placed in September. I was told that it would be shipped by the end of the week. I'm not getting my hopes up...

Yeah. They used to be perfectly fine to order from, but I think they got in way over their head somewhere in there.

I had one preorder get double filled (i.e. they charged me for it twice and shipped it out twice)- hey did refund me for the second one and I sent the item back when they sent me a shipping label.

Another preorder that was placed the same day but arrived later tried to do the same thing, so it was something wrong with their system I think.

Sadly, that last preorder hit in their "we are so utterly in over our heads and not communicating that terribly well" phase. After two months of "it'll ship out next week" I finally disputed it with my Credit Union as I used my debit card.

Maybe they'll emerge from all of this a better company, but they've lost a lot of goodwill in the collector communities.

Yeah, pretty sure things went south for them. I think they way overextended from the get-go and then covid cut them off at the kness. When they first opened, they were sponsoring the local comic con and advertising heavily. I stopped in once a year or so ago to pick up an order (they offered free store pickup for locals) and it was dead in there. IIRC, last year they started some kickstarter-ish campaign trying to get people to invest in their business, and then this summer they stopped offering store pickup as an option. If I can, I'll drive by their store today and see if it's even open anymore. Something tells me it'll be shut up tight and if I peek through the windows, the shelves will be barren.

Yes Sir, basically a form of stock option IIRC. They were also trying to re-launch Barnyard Commandos.

I'm sorry to hear of the trouble they're apparently facing. I remember seeing a picture of whom I assumed as the owner and his Daughter and thinking to myself "I hope they make it".

It was bizarre that I got an email yesterday to preorder barnyard commandos but nothing on what I ordered 2 months ago. All bad signs.
