I know all of us here obviously have a love for GI Joe but I'm curious to see what other toys people hold dear to their hearts. Not saying you can't put any Joes or Cobra on your list, just curious to hear what other people's preferences are. This is gonna a be a tough one for some I know including me.
1. Masterpiece Soundwave Soundwave has always been one of my favorite Transformers and this in my opinion is the pinnacle version of him. I'm aware there are some third party versions of him that are good if not perhaps better, but this one is the one I have and it's perfect! Well the only thing I had to do to make it better was get the reprolabels set for him and his cassettes so I could have the more cartoon accurate red eyes instead of the toy accurate yellow eyes it initially came with, but it was no big deal. 2. SH Figuarts Devilman Now this figure may not be based on the original manga version of Devilman or from "Devilman: Crybaby", but I still always liked this classic looking design from the more "super hero" esque Devilman as that's how I first saw him. Any who this figure is just amazing in all regards. So many display options with his stand and a appropriate amount of accessories to help bring him to life! I'm glad I got him when he was around $60, now of days good luck finding him for less than $100. Great figure representing old school anime. 3. GI Joe Classified Snake Eyes (Version 1) This guy right here made me see just how awesome the classified series was, so much so I had to buy V1 Roadblock the next day! After sadly getting rid of my modern Joes and Cobra along with my other 3 and a quarter inch figures, this filled the gap in my life. Luckily I have two shelves now dedicated for both Joes and Cobra, so this figure right here re-ignited my passion for GI Joe. Besides I much prefer the 6-inch scale anyways, not that there is anything wrong with 3 and a quarter inch I'm gonna miss my collection of those. 4. Masters of the Universe Origins Deluxe Mosquitor I LOVE this line of figures. Retro look, modern articulation. What separates Mosquitor from the rest is the return of his "blood pump" gimmick and in addition to that, he comes with an "energy drain" effect that you can attach to another figure to simulate him draining the life out of them! So in other words, it's like the old school figure except improved upon. 5. Marvel Legends Deluxe War Machine/Deluxe Cosmic Ghost Rider Out of these two figures I can't decide which one I like the best! They both have awesome sculpting, great articulation and awesome accessories to boot! War Machine has these awesome blast effects for his arsenal of weapons, and Cosmic Ghost Rider has his space bike, chain, and two pistols with a blast effect for each one! Both figures are really great so I declare the final slot to be a tie. Last edited by Agent of Dohma; 08-01-2022 at 10:42 PM.. |

It's way too hard for me to pick just five toys in my collection. I will comment on Mosquitor, though. I have him and think he's awesome. It's the first and only figure I have of him which is a huge plus to me. It's nice to get a figure once in a while of a character that I don't already have a figure of.

This question is a tough one, as I have a rather large collection and covers several different lines, so this list is subject to change, and in no particular order,
-Marvel Select Titanium Man, just a great figure, large and imposing, goes great with the Marvel Select Silver Centurian Iron Man. -Marvel Legends Modular Armor Iron Man, what can i say, this is a near perfect action figure, and an iconic armor. -Masters of the Universe Revelations Trap-Jaw, well made, it was tough as I have several in this line I love (Mer-man, Triklops) but this one stands out for me. -Marvel Legends Infinity Saga Obidiah Stane and Iron Monger, just an incredible set, Iron Monger is spot on, my hope is Hasbro will complete the Iron Man film villians soon in 6" scale, missing Justin Hammer, Whiplash and Aldrich Killian. -Power Rangers Lightning Collection SPD Shadow Ranger, this was part of wave one and i have so many in this line I like, my collection is limited to 3 teams (SPD, Time Force and Dino Thunder) but this one is one of my favorites and got me into collecting the lightning collection.

I applaud your courage gentleman. I know this isn't easy pickings and I understand your favorite toys could change with every purchase and what not! Still mayhaps I should of picked "Top Ten" but even then I believe that would be difficult to pick ten favorites

I love Masterpiece Transformers and Soundwave is great. However I think the cassette cons from the official are too small to scale with MP figures, and believe me I am not even that anal about scale.
I don't have a lot of toys in my collection anymore so I honestly cannot even do a Top 5. So I will have to kind of cheat and say my MP scale Transformers Fanstoys "Dinobots" together are my favorite for one pick. The Dinobots were my favorite as a kid and I retain my love for them. Fanstoys have a hardcore fan base as well as a dedicated hater group. I do not love everything they produce TF wise, but these "Dinobots" are out of the park. I love how massive they are, scale well with other MP figures, and their overall design. #2 would be GI JOE Classified Viper. The ordinary Viper to me is such an iconic design and that is one of the better figures to come out from this line. Too bad they are so hard to get. Even with the 3 pack coming out (and out for some), the single box Viper is still super high on secondary markets. |

Easy. The following are all complete and in excellent shape:
1986 Night Raven 1985 Snake Eyes 1992 Ninja Viper 1986 Moray 1983 Cobra Commander. There are many other runners-up, but those are the ones at this point that I'd have the hardest time parting with. I should also add that I'm wishy washy when it comes to favorites and could feel differently tomorrow.

Like CG Steve above, I've pared down my collection immensely, but these are my current top 5:
#1) Juijiang JJ-01-05 Jet Commander(MP Scale Superion)-This massive robot is 18 inches tall and beautiful. Silverbolt is leader-class size and the rest are voyager-class size. He was worth every penny. #2) Sideshow 1/6 Helmeted Cobra Commander. The look, the tailored clothing and cape, he just looks amazing. #3) Hot Toys DX16 Deluxe Darth Maul. Hot Toys outdid themselves with this one. The Ray Park likeness is uncanny, his articulation is top notch and he can be put in so many poses, he has an extra arm with leds to light up the lightsaber, I could go on. #4) Threezero 1/6 Storm Shadow. He just looks absolutely badass. 'Nuff said. #5) Transformers Combiner Wars Optimus Maximus. He looks like a beastly Optimus. Plus classic Autobots Sunstreaker, Ironhide, Prowl, and Mirage? Yes please. I have the Perfect Effect combiner hands and feet on him, and I'm buying a Cosmos and Rodimus to add to him to fully pimp him out. |
