Has any body else ever seen the Sgt Rock line of 3 3/4" figures from Remco? I just happened to come across a video on YouTube because I had watched a Remco Warlord video by the same guy. After looking for more info there was actually a lot of figures and playsets/vehicles released. It doesn't surprise me that I never had any of the figures because the line came out the year I was born but my dad didn't know about the line either. The only bad this is it's Sgt Rock and a bunch of generic guys rather than Sgt Rock and Easy Company. And if I understand the bad guys are literally called The Bad Guys. I bought a few items off of eBay so I'll let you guys know what I think about the actual figures in had.
Sgt Rock https://www.figurerealm.com/actionfi...emlist&id=1173 The Bad Guys https://www.figurerealm.com/actionfi...igures=badguys I would love to see a modern Sgt Rock and Easy Company line but sadly McFarlane should rename the Multiverse line Batverse and Spin Masters figures could be cool but not really what I want. The GI Joe Sgt Rock figures are awesome but a little out of my price range. I've been thinking about doing a set using Marauder parts but I would still want actual Sgt Rock figures. |

I'm pretty sure I had some when I was a kid.
Here's some pics of modern customs with reference photos of the original figures: Oreobuilder's Blog: Project No Joe Day 5: Sgt Rock Oreobuilder's Blog: Retro Toy Chest Day 7 - Sgt Rock & Mega Force |

I had some of these. I remember Mack and I had the big "Army Men"-style battlefield playset.

I had some of these back in the day. I liked the accessories you got and if I remember right, they were pretty cheap.

I didn’t have Sgt. Rock, but I had quite a few figures that were bootlegs of Sgt. Rock figures (the irony of someone ripping off the Sgt. Rock line, which was itself ripping off GI Joe, is not lost on me). The figures had metal torsos but plastic limbs and heads, and were clearly based on the Remco tooling. They also came with some great weapons. No markings of any kind to identify the maker or year. I’ve attached a pic, the figure on the left is from the Sgt. Rock line, but the rest are from this mystery bootleg line. I wish I could find the name of the line, these are some of the first action figures I received as a child.
Remco also had some more poseable, generic 3 3/4” military figures, released under different lines such as American Defense and US Forces, but sharing the same tooling. I have a few of those from childhood as well (see 2nd pic). |

They were okay looking and cheap, but often crap quality. Like "move their arm and their torso would break" quality. Vehicles and accessories were a mix of cheapness and brittleness. It's a shame really.
The Bad Guys were all repaints of Sgt Rock's men. It's wonderful and shameless simplicity. I had one of those metal torso guys and he was better quality, but strange because metal torso? IIRC he included a die cast tank around 1/72 scale for....some reason? |

I had some of the He-Man sized figures of the “Bad Guys”. Always wanted the 3.75 and would love if someone made them now.

I had some as a kid, still do. I have a soft spot for some of the Remco lines. Here is my Sgt Rock collection. One thing I always enjoyed is most had pockets in the back with a hole in the bottom so you could stick one of the shovels or other accessories in it. It sounds silly, but as a kid it was pretty fun to be able to do.
