Yes they are. Jazwares will be selling them as a six-figure set directly from their "vault" web store. No announcement of price yet.

They aren't the highlights of the line, that's for sure. Then again, I have seen worse from Jazwares in the past.

Fair enough. Whoever he is this time around, I think it's a very poor sculpt and I'm not interested in more of it. It's a shame, too, because I love ODSTs and would have purchased a pile of them if they were done well (and obtainable). Instead I have been building my own for the kids.

It's the Halo 3 Campaign ODST, so he's missing the additional detail on the legs and hip-armour that the Rookie had (and the backpack) Quote:
They look better in-hand, or at least the original releases do.

The lower arms, upper legs, and torso are all ok. Maybe the feet too? I haven't paid attention to them specifically. But the rest of the body sculpt has pretty bad issues in one way or another. Mcfarlane's ODST figure had some issues with the shoulder armor as well (see below), but the proportions and sculpt were much closer to the source material. If Jazwares' ODSTs had landed as 1:18 versions of this, I would have been satisfied enough:

I don't know man. I think it goes beyond the peanut head and big hands. The shin guards are way too bulky, the upper arms look like macaroni (basically smooth tubes and for some reason curved as they leave the shoulder), and the shoulder armor looks like an ill-fitting glued-on part (because it is) rather than melding with the arm. ODSTs don't look like that in the game or in the artwork on the game case.

Also, whatever his other faults in comparison, the Jazwares ODST can at least hold his weapon in a believable stance without requiring major reconstructive surgery beforehand. ;^)

Compare those two figures to what's below. I am only focusing on the design on the right-hand side of this image:
https://halo.fandom.com/wiki/ODST_battle_armor I love Landfall and the We Are ODST shorts. They took some liberties and I think the armor in them looks awesome. Even the velco-attached armor pads in their design meld better with the shoulder than what you see on either figure. The Jazwares and Mcfarlane pads look like something you could pry off. There shouldn't be a huge rise above and off of the shoulder like that. A little one, yes, but not much. They should also wrap around and blend into the arm on the front/back of the arm a lot more. These just look "stuck-on" rather than "worn" I guess is what I mean. Jazwares' most of all. Mcfarlane got closer to the source on this one in most respects. Heck, look at the gap between the top of the shoulder armor and the straps on top of the shoulder. The 5" (?) Mcfarlane figure has less gap than this ~3.75" Jazwares figure has. The Jazwares legs look like he's tending goal in the NHL, too. The hip armor flares out like a ruffled skirt. Just...ugh. They should be able to do better than me when I am trying to cram armor onto an existing figure... 2-hand grip... I know my thigh armor is too fat in that pic, but it's a sleeve piece over a full leg so it is what it is. I won't keep beating a dead horse after this. I just don't like the Jazwares sculpt at all for this figure.
