Looks like Halo isn't part of Wal-Mart's next reset.

I randomly found some wave 4 figures today at a store that was previously stuck on wave 3. Sadly, there was no elite ultra but I was able to get Fred, the red Spartan (EVA?), grunt mule, and whichever Brute that is.
My kids are only looking for the elite ultra, Fred, and the red Spartan from this wave but I picked up the grunt mule and the brute in case anyone here needs them. I also have a spare Fred since a second store also had one. Let me know if you need these, guys. And if anyone has an ultra let me know. |

And I looked at all the other pages, but nada. These are the ones where it should have been based on class and category.

You actually found wave 5? didnt think wave 5 actually hit the big retail places and skipped to wave 6. perhaps you meant 3 and 4 instead of 4 and 5?

I'm still a fan of the line overall but I'm not happy with the latest figures.
I found wave 6 but Buck broke the moment I tried to move his arm. Overall plastic feels softer and worse. No stands, but I don't mind that. And finally the sculpt of the Marine is just terrible - I was hoping it would look better in person but the face looks like a joke and the arms and legs are like spaghetti noodles with no definition, the whole thing has very muddy detail that does not measure up to the other figures as if someone totally different sculpted it. Maybe one of the designers let their apprentice do this one but whoever did it it shouldn't have gone through, it looks bad. Now having said that the other figures in the wave are otherwise pretty good. I found all except the Skirmisher at Target and I'm tired of looking so I bout the Skirmisher on eBay for $22 so I don't have to waste time and gas.

The actual feel of the figure is just off with the previous releases seeming superior. I think I will just keep snagging Amazon 3-packs every other paycheck to get my quota of unmasked marines. |
