Definitely play with your RoboCop. He's got butterfly shoulders as well as regular shoulder balls, and the ankle pistons actually piston. His *two* torso joints make him more poseable than any of the previous Hiyas, imho. The only things to not really dig are the pegball wrists, the lack of hindarm swivel until you bend the forearm down to 90degrees, and Hiya's need to milk the mold by making accessories count as variants. But Robo himself is quality stuff.
I've gotten three so far including Jetpack RC3. Their urge to be as sculpt-accurate as possible works against the jetpack as it doesn't actually *connect* to him at all, simply laying on his shoulders with the gauntlets pressed against his forearms. I'm still working out how to make the jetpack more sturdily-connected and the gun-arm swappable. |

I went a little robot crazy and have all 7 variants of the Robocop figure. I have opened them all except the SDCC version.
Let go of your HIYA fears. These, like the Predator and DC line, are not like the first run of the Alien figures. I haven't had a problem with them breaking or any stiff joints. They are not without their faults (as mentioned above), but they aren't fragile statues like they used to be. |

I am hoping the inclusion of Cain's brain is a hint that we will get a robe version of him and not just a cheeky accessory. I would love some cops to go along (generic and Anne) as well has human Cain and Clarence and acid dipped dude from robo 1.

Good to know. I haven't touched one of Hiya's figures since Harley Quinn and Swampthing dropped.

Come to think of it, my hiya red hood had a broken hand peg that I had to drill out and swap a joe hand in. Darkseid is solid so far. I don't let the kids play with these tho, they have a good collection of sturdier figures.

Hiya did an awesome job with Robocop but I had to do a little surgery because he’s short compared with other 1/18 line. I gave him double jointed knees and replaced his hands with BFS robot kit hands.

What's the back-side of helmetless Murphy look like? I may need that head.
I drilled out the RC3 gun-arm to make it swappable with the MTF hand I gave RC1: And my current RoboSquad; the Acid Raid Camelbot as RoboDog, my custom of 'RoboCop 3' Sgt Adella Ronson, Murphy with his jetpack (I swapped the arm guards as I never understood why having jets poining up made any sense), and Lewis with the jetpack from the Kotobukiya Coin Figure set (which has swiveling lower jets!)
