Anybody know of a 1:18 scale artillery piece? I know there’s the Joe ‘laser artillery’ setup, but I’m looking for something like an M198 or a Triple Seven. Or even a pack howitzer. The only thing can find is a 1:16 model kit for the 198.

Power Team Elite World Peacekeepers has a "mountain howitzer" set but it's a bit spendy on the secondary market.

Agreed with above. This is probably your best bet. You can order direct from the company. I think shipping took 2 weeks for my last order:

Are you looking for towed arty?
Chap Mei makes a decent howitzer: The Corps! has an “okay” looking cannon if you squint: If you want rocket arty the Corps! makes a decent towed Katyusha. I had to shorten the base to make it acceptable to me though:

There's some 1:16 M198 Kits by Merit too. They made Kits and used to sell Assembled M198s as well. Easy Model made a M198 kit as well
Kinda expensive, usually $100. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...LH_TitleDesc=0 https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...LH_TitleDesc=0 |

BBI elite forces had a MLRS on amazon, sunny day entertainment or something like that. There also used to be a really well done howitzer in Smith Toy Stores in the UK. Used to be as in a couple years ago, last time I visited family.
I really like the old RAH mountain howitzer. Alas, while I love arty, much like the real world, my arty joes have been pressed into service as provisional infantry as my joe ops and joe verse do not have much call for arty. |
