Even if Hasbro couldn't get it together to get a video game out of GI Joe, why aren't they doing a 1:18 scale line for some popular video game? I mean Jazwares got this license, Hasbro would blow away the competition if they did Call of Duty figures in 1:18 and that'd scratch a major itch for Joe collectors at the same time. Instead it's like they're moping around doing nothing giving away the entire category.

I got a few of the Fortnite figures and they're not bad. Just because of their style and colors, they do stand out a little when mixed with Joes. Omega looks the best. The main issue is elbow articulation. Some you can't even get a 90 degree bend, so getting a good pose with a weapon is hard or impossible. You just have to use hand guns with those. They'll just be used as vehicle drivers or background characters in my collection display anyway.
I don't know anything about the characters, but... Drift - Ninja Master Carbide - Cobra aquatic vehicle driver Omega - Cobra assasin Raptor - Joe AB-115 Shark (True Heroes) pilot Teknique - Joe hacker Cuddle Team Leader - Candy, Bongo the BOMB Bear Brite Bomber - Dreadnok Ragnarok - Dreadnok Rex - Joe Rust Lord - Joe Bandolier - Joe Jonesy - Joe Raven - Cobra Has anybody tried customizing yet?

When I saw that Cuddle Team Leader figure, I thought of Bongo the Balloon Bear custom. If only she came in brown, then it'd be something I'd tackle.

Two questions to those who have some in-hand:
Are the heads swappable with Joe/MTF in terms on socket size? And are the heads a good size for Joe/MTF or are they cartoonishly oversized?

Omega is $20, the other single carded figures were $13 from what I saw.

It's TINY, and from what I can see, is gouged goes in deep into the head to allow head tilt. It's one of the better designed parts of the figure but it will likely make modifying the heads a massive chore. Cartoonsh? Depends on the figure. |

I was traveling for work today and happened to stop at a Wal-Mart. I picked up the Raptor figure. Not bad. Definitely compatible with Joes. I haven't decided who he'll be yet in my verse.
